The 4th New Zealand Metals Industry Conference was held in Auckland, New Zealand's SkyCity Convention Centre between 29th and 31st October 2008. Over 300 delegates attended the three-day event, which comprised Industry Tours to local engineering companies, Conference Exhibition, a Welcome Function, Opening ceremony, Plenary Sessions, seminars, Conference Dinner and Industry Gala Dinner. A great success, the 4th MIC 2008 has received positive feedback for its up-to-date topics, depth of knowledge sharing and industry empowerment, varied social activities and quality of presentations.
